21/02/2001 (Agence Europe) - The National Statistics Institute (INE) of Spain announced on Wednesday that Spain's gross domestic product (GDP) increased by 4.1% in 2000, after a 4% rise in 1999. The rise in GDP, however, was not so clear during the fourth quarter of last year, reaching 3.8% compared to 4.2% during the first and second quarter and 4.1% during the third.
