Green light for acquisition of Interpharm by Alliance Unichem

Brussels, 08/12/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has authorised the British pharmaceutical wholesaler Alliance Unichem Plc to take over the Dutch firm Interpharm, active in the same sector. This operation raises no problems of competition given that the activities of Alliance Unichem in the Netherlands are currently very limited.
