ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) chemicals

The Belgian group SOLVAY (consolidated turnover of EUR 7.9 billion in 1999 and a staff of around 33,000) and the Brazilian company DACARTO SA INDUSTRIAS DE PLASTICOS (turnover of around USD 70 million in 1999) have created a 50-50 joint venture. Baptised DACARTO BENVIC SA, it will be specialised in PVC mixtures.
