13/10/2000 (Agence Europe) - The Central and Eastern European countries, Cyprus, Malta and Turkey, as well as the EFTA countries members of the European Economic Area, declare that they share the objectives of the European Union's common position of 29 September regarding the embargo of arms for Ethiopia and Eritrea. The will ensure that their national policies conform to that common position. The European Union takes note of this commitment and welcomes it.
