Strasbourg, 06/10/2000 (Agence Europe) - The President of the International Olympic Committee, Juan Antonio Samaranch met Nicole Fontaine, President of the European Parliament in Strasbourg on the sidelines of the plenary session. He handed for the first time to the EP Presidency the "sculpture of Olympus" which is traditionally offered to Heads of State following the Olympic games.
