"Statement of objections" to two Belgian and Luxembourg beer producers for prohibited concerted agreements

Brussels, 02/10/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has sent "statements of objections" to the Belgian brewers Interbrew, Alken-Maes, Haacht and Martens, as well as the Luxembourg producers, Diekirch, Bofferding, Mousel & Clausen, Battin and De Wiltz. The objections comprise, for the Belgians, market distribution and price setting, from 1993 to 1998 (at least); for the Luxembourg firms, an agreement over market distribution in the restaurant, hotels and cafes sectors from 1985 to...
