Council to discuss Thursday afternoon extension of Europol powers to money laundering, criminal sanctions for environmental damage and first Eurojust unit

Brussels, 27/09/2000 (Agence Europe) - The Justice/Home Affairs Council session on Thursday will be devoted to issues coming under the competence of the Justice Ministers (for work of Home Ministers, see yesterday's EUROPE, p.7). Under the chairmanship of Justice Minister Elisabeth Guigou and in the presence of Commissioner Antonio Vitorino, the Fifteen will tackle the following issues:
