Brussels, 25/09/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has approved Danish State aid aimed at promoting the use of renewable energy sources. Denmark has set in place reform of the electricity market so that the new system will lead to a situation where 20% of the electricity consumed domestically will be based on "green energy" in 2003, while transposing into Danish law the European directive on the liberalisation of the European electricity market.
