28/08/2000 (Agence Europe) - The accusations of espionage against four journalists from the BBC arrested in Liberia and for whom the EU called for their freeing have been withdrawn (see EUROPE of 25 August, p.2). President Taylor said that they had made their apologies and that they would be immediately freed.
