Brussels, 03/08/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission approved the granting of EUR 1.740 million to the population and the refugees from Yemen and the Soqotra island. Taken from the ECHO budget (Community humanitarian office), this amount will finance the operation aimed at health, water supply and infrastructure over the next ten months.
