Brussels, 31/07/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European commission has partially rejected a Spanish aid scheme intended to help in the purchase of new industrial vehicles. This scheme, "Renove II" enabled companies to benefit, from January to December 1997, from aid for the purchase of vehicles. The Commission considers that the aid was acceptable for companies whose main activity was not transport, but not for haulage companies, considering that it is a question of a distortion to competition....
