ING BARING, the investment subsidiary of the Dutch group ING will spend a total of GBP 127.4 million to acquire the British broker CHARTERHOUSE SECURITIES LTD. The latter was put up for sale by the French CCF following into the bosom of HSBC. See EI of 3 and 4 April.
