Project for establishing national funds for income stabilisation for pig farmers pleases practically no-one - Commission defends its position

Brussels, 30/05/2000 (Agence Europe) - The hearing on the crisis in the pig sector, organised by the European Parliament Committee on Agriculture, showed that the proposal of the European Commission aimed at authorising the creation of national funds for income stabilisation for pig farmers meets with practically no-one's satisfaction.
