Court begins procedure concerning aid to WestLB

Luxembourg, 26/05/2000 (Agence Europe) - The EU Court of Justice registered, on Thursday, the complaint filed by the European Commission against Germany for not having recovered aid paid to the regional bank WestLB. The Commission had called on Germany to recover EUR 808 million paid by North Rhineland-Westphalia to Westdeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale between 1992 and 1998.
