Commission approves takeover of Robert Bosch GmbH's mobile telephony operations by Siemens AG

Brussels, 02/05/2000 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has approved the planned takeover by German company Siemens AG, active in the information and communications sector, of the mobile phone activities of another German company, Bosch GmbH, concentrated in Bosch's subsidiaries Bosch Telecom A/S (Pandrup, Denmark) and Bosch Telecom GmbH (Stuttgart, Germany).
