Preparation of a new industrial co-operation strategy in the context of the Barcelona Process, to revitalise this essential aspect of the Euro-Mediterranean partnership

Brussels, 02/05/2000 (Agence Europe) - The EU and the Mediterranean third countries are preparing the new Euro-Mediterranean regional industrial co-operation strategy, for submission to the third Euro-Mediterranean Conference of Industry Ministers. This conference will be held on 22 June in Limassol (Cyprus), following those held in May 1996 in Brussels and October 1998 in Klagenfurt, Austria.
