300 million euro loan for Air France for purchase of Airbuses

Luxembourg, 02/02/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank has granted a 300 million euro loan (FF 2 billion) to the French airline company Air France for the purchase for medium-haul Airbus A 320 aircraft. The loan will be disbursed in line with the company's investment needs up to end-2001. In 1999, the EIB granted loans to Austrian Airlines and Iberia, also for the purchase of Airbuses.
