In Belgium, PUNCH INTERNATIONAL (sales of FEB 2.4 billion in 1998 with a workforce of 1,850) has acquired 100% of STROBBE (equipment for the daily press). The financial details of the operation were not made public. STROBBE had turnover of FEB 600 million in 1999 with 60 employees.
