In the United States, the telephone equipment maker QUALCOMM will be buying SNAPTRACK, specialised in locating portable phone users, for USD 1 billion, via a share swap. Under the agreement, SNAPTRACK will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of QUALCOMM.
