According to the Britain's Daily Telegraph, the UK bank LLOYDS TSB is considering launching a bid on BANK OF SCOTLAND or ROYAL BANK OF SCOTLAND in the event either fails in an attempt to buy NATIONAL WESTMINSTER. See, among others, EI of 17 & 18 January.
