Through free trade area, Europe hopes to recover market shares lost in Mexico in recent years

Brussels, 18/01/2000 (Agence Europe) - As foreseen, the European Commission has approved the results of negotiations on a free trade area between the EU and Mexico concluded in November (see yesterday's EUROPE, p.8, for details) and has forwarded them to the Council and European Parliament.
