01/07/26 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 1 July, the European Commission began publishing a table listing the entry into application, by mid-August, of European legislative texts. This table mentions in particular the entry into force of the European €3 tax on small parcels (see EUROPE 13899/35), as well as measures aimed at protecting the European steel sector from global overcapacity (see EUROPE 13899/4). It also lists the legislative texts for which the transposition deadline is expiring, such as Directive (2024/1799) on the right to repair defective products (see EUROPE 13342/1).
