22/06/2026 (Agence Europe) – Twelve members of the European Parliament and four members of the US Congress reaffirmed, in a joint statement published on 20 June, at the end of the 91st interparliamentary meeting of the Transatlantic Legislators’ Dialogue, the need to “strengthen cooperation among democratic partners to protect electoral integrity, uphold the rule of law, and promote peace, security and sustainable prosperity”. The elected representatives discussed, in particular, cooperation on critical raw materials, how to combat foreign information manipulation and interference and strengthen resilience, the prospects for peace in the Middle East, and support for Ukraine.
