17/06/2026 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 12 June, the European Commission launched a public consultation, which will run until 24 July, on the European Directive on due diligence, which requires companies to identify, prevent and bring to an end adverse impacts on human rights and the environment throughout their value chains. This new phase is intended to turn legal obligations into concrete practices with a view to issuing a communication on the subject in the first quarter of 2027. The consultation is intended to enable stakeholders to contribute to the development of practical guidelines. Link to the consultation: https://aeur.eu/f/mdw (SP)
