European Council endorses appointment of Boris Vujčić as Vice-President of monetary institute

20/03/2026 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 19 March, the Governor of the Croatian National Bank, Boris Vujčić, was confirmed as Vice-President of the European Central Bank (ECB) by the European Council. Following his election by the Eurogroup (see EUROPE B13789A3), Mr Vujčić's appointment was confirmed by the European Parliament (see EUROPE B13825A19).
