27 young winners selected in latest ‘Juvenes Translatores’ European translation competition

12/02/2026 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 12 February, the European Commission announced the 27 winners of the 2025 edition of the ‘Juvenes Translatores’ translation competition. The 3,004 participants, aged 17 and from 716 schools across the EU, had to translate texts in 155 language combinations, including rare pairs such as Bulgarian/Greek or Irish/Spanish.
