European Parliament welcomes agreement between FDS and Syrian government

On Thursday 12 February, MEPs welcomed the recent agreement reached between the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the Syrian transitional government, calling on all parties to refrain from any action that could lead to a further escalation of violence, to respect the ceasefire agreements in force and to support the mechanisms designed to monitor and preserve the ceasefire.
