10/12/25 (Agence Europe) – In a letter obtained by Agence Europe on Tuesday 9 December, the French Minister Delegate for Europe, Benjamin Haddad, asked the European Commission to shed full light on allegations of European funding of non-governmental and international organisations operating in the Palestinian territories, which are said to be controlled by Hamas. “This information raises major concerns about the integrity of European funding and the protection of European taxpayers, who must be able to be assured that their contributions are used exclusively for humanitarian purposes”, he explained, adding that, for France, it is intolerable that European funding should have been paid to organisations that are subject to interference by Hamas networks, both as a question of values and of security.
