EU launches anti-dumping investigation into Chinese alkyl phosphonic acids

19/09/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 18 September, the European Commission announced that it was initiating an anti-dumping investigation into imports of Chinese alkyl phosphonic acids and their sodium salts. These products are used particularly in cleaning products. The German chemicals company Lanxess lodged a complaint with the Commission in August, suspecting that the manufacture of these products in China was largely supported by the state in various ways.
