Sixty-four consumer protection NGOs and retail sector organisations published a letter to the European Commission on Wednesday 17 September, calling on it to “urgently address regulatory loopholes on online trade”.
According to the signatories, who join a long list of complainants against the undesirable effects of online trade from Chinese platforms (see EUROPE B13710A10), European legislation is “no longer adapted to the current environment”.
