01/09/25 (Agence Europe) – On 1 September, the Pyrenees-Mediterranean Euroregion opened the call for applications for the third edition of the CREAOCCAT competition, aimed at creators of content in Catalan and Occitan on social networks. This year, the competition is innovating with a collaborative cross-border format, encouraging joint projects between Catalonia, the Balearic Islands and Occitania. The aim is to promote digital creation while enhancing the cultural and linguistic identity shared by the three territories. Participants have until 30 October to submit their applications. Since 2021, the Euroregion has been committed to promoting intangible heritage and regional languages as a pillar of its cultural strategy. (LC)
