04/04/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 4 April, the European Commission approved a €300 million Greek State aid scheme to support sustainable biofuels and renewable liquid fuels for transport, according to a press release. This scheme was approved under the Temporary Crisis and Transition Framework (TCF) for State aid, adopted by the Commission on 9 March 2023 and amended on 20 November 2023 and 2 May 2024. The aid will be granted no later than 31 December 2025. The Commission has concluded that the scheme is necessary, appropriate and proportionate to accelerate the ecological transition and facilitate the development of certain economic activities. (SP)
