25/03/25 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 25 March, the EU delegation to Pakistan, in collaboration with the Pakistani government, announced the first-ever EU-Pakistan high-level trade forum, to be held in Islamabad on 14 and 15 May. The EU is Pakistan's biggest export destination. With a rapidly growing market of more than 240 million people and strategic geographic access to Central and South Asia, “Pakistan offers immense business opportunities”, says a press release from the European External Action Service (EEAS). The business forum will bring together high-level political decision-makers, business leaders and CEOs from Pakistan and Europe, as well as financial institutions, to discuss Pakistan’s “potential, innovation and best practices” in key sectors such as agri-food, energy, information technology and textiles.
