Meta rolls out new artificial intelligence functionalities in EU while European Commission awaits details

Since Monday 24 March, users of Meta’s services in 41 European countries have been able to benefit from new artificial intelligence tools in several applications, including WhatsApp and Instagram.

Announced last week, these new functions are making their appearance in Europe a year and a half after they were rolled out in the United States, following friction between the American company and European regulations.
