20/03/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 19 March, the European Union launched a €2 million subsidised project to support around 8,000 people affected by the violence and disruption during the 2024 summer uprising in Bangladesh (see EUROPE B13464A15). The project will be implemented by the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS), through the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), in close collaboration with the government of Bangladesh.
