Stéphane Séjourné seeks to reassure MEPs about follow-up to “Clean Industrial Deal”

The European Commission’s Executive Vice-President for Industrial Strategy, Stéphane Séjourné, answered questions from members of the European Parliament’s Industry Committee (ITRE) on Tuesday 18 March. The discussions revealed the differences between the groups on the details of the ‘Clean Industrial Deal’ and the first ‘omnibus’ packages. Only European preference in public procurement seems to achieve consensus among all the groups.
