07/03/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 7 March, the European Commission approved Czech State aid worth €279 million to facilitate the integration of renewable energies into electricity production in the Czech Republic. The country will subsidise the construction of at least 1,500 MW/h of electricity storage capacity. All storage technologies will be able to access the programme. According to the European Commission, this programme meets the conditions of the Temporary Crisis and Transition State aid Framework (TCTF), in particular because the call for tenders is open to all types of technology, provided they meet the objectives.
