20/01/2025 (Agence Europe) – In a survey of 58 members of the American Chamber of Commerce to the EU (AmCham EU) published on 20 January, 89% of respondents said they expected trade and investment relations to deteriorate. Of the companies surveyed, 52% are concerned about the measures that the EU could take, and 67% worry about those that Washington could impose. Most members stress the importance of stable relations between the two blocs for the smooth running of their business. The threat of customs duties is clearly what worries them most.
