COP16 on biodiversity will resume in Rome in February, with aim of reaching an agreement

29/11/24 (Agence Europe) – The COP16 on biodiversity ended without an agreement in Cali, Colombia, due to the lack of a quorum (see EUROPE B13517A15). Discussions on the funding gap for biodiversity, a key issue at the Kunming-Montreal global framework, for example, failed to reach a conclusion.
