29/11/24 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 26 November, the Single Resolution Board (SRB) unveiled its work programme for 2025, which will focus on three areas: (1) making the resolution plans of the major European banks operational by drawing up a manual that enables banks to assess their own ability to be resolved, and by carrying out on-site inspections; (2) improving internal procedures, in particular through digitalisation, to be more responsive and transparent; (3) strengthening human resources to attract talent and cooperate with other international organisations or national entities. “This work programme puts into practice our strategic shift to testing and operationalising our crisis readiness”, said Dominique Laboureix, Chair of the SRB.
