European Commission consults on implementation of Economic Partnership Agreement with Tokyo

18/09/24 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 17 September, the European Commission published a call for evidence to assess the impact of the EU-Japan Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA), five years after its entry into force. This consultation is part of the Commission’s commitment to carry out ex-post evaluations of its trade agreements, and may provide food for thought on the review of the agreement, which is to take place in the tenth year after its entry into force.
