12/09/2024 (Agence Europe) – The European Heart Network (EHN) and the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) have renewed their commitment to advancing cardiovascular health by signing a new memorandum of understanding on Thursday 12 September. It builds on years of successful collaboration between the two organisations to improve cardiovascular health policy and practice across Europe, according to a press release. With a focus on patient advocacy, the MoU outlines key areas of cooperation, including the ongoing development of a European cardiovascular health plan and the increased involvement of patients in ESC activities. By combining their efforts in research, education and policy advocacy, the EHN and ESC continue to lead the way in shaping the future of cardiovascular care on the continent, according to the organisations.
