European Commission has yet to decide whether to block funds allocated to Slovakia due to Rule of law being undermined

Is the European Commission considering blocking funds allocated to Slovakia on the grounds that the Rule of law is being undermined? The information revealed by the US media outlet Bloomberg on Sunday 8 September was rejected outright by the Slovakian Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Juraj Blanár, who described it as “false” in a statement on Monday 9 September.
