EU releases €1.1 million in emergency aid for flood victims in Bangladesh

05/09/24 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 5 September, the European Commission released €1.1 million in humanitarian funding following the devastating floods that have hit Bangladesh in recent weeks. This funding complements the ongoing distribution of hygiene items, sanitary equipment, tools for building shelters and cooking utensils from EU-funded relief stocks (see EUROPE B13464A16).
