18/07/2024 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 17 July, the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) announced the opening of a call for “Sport Supports 2024” pilot projects, from 24 July to 17 October, 5 pm Brussels time. These projects will aim to promote the community integration of children and young people affected by humanitarian crises and mass migration due to war. Through taking part in sports, participants will be able to improve their mental well-being and adapt to their new environment. According to EACEA, sports activities, as a vehicle for cohesion, will facilitate interaction with the host community and integration into the education system and the labour market.
