European Parliament renews its College of Quaestors, which is devoid of far-right MEPs

At the European Parliament’s plenary session on Wednesday 17 July, MEPs elected five Quaestors who will be responsible for administrative and financial matters concerning MEPs and their working conditions for the next two and a half years.

Andrey Kovatchev (EPP, Bulgarian - 559 votes), Marc Angel (S&D, Luxembourger - 461 votes), Miriam Lexmann (EPP, Slovak - 459 votes) and Fabienne Keller (Renew Europe, French - 398 votes) were elected in the first round of the election.
