Janez Lenarčič announces shipment of 116 tonnes of humanitarian aid to Gaza via EU airlift

On Thursday 11 July, the European Commissioner for Crisis Management, Janez Lenarčič, announced that some 116 tonnes of humanitarian supplies had been sent to Gaza over the last few days via the European Union airlift. “With these latest shipments carrying essential health, hygiene and shelter items, we mark 58 flights organised since last October to support Palestinians in need”, Mr Lenarčič said on X.
