Euro area inflation estimated at 2.5% in June

03/07/2024 (Agence Europe) – Annual inflation in the euro area stood at 2.5% in June, compared with 2.6% in May, according to a flash estimate published by the Statistical Office of the European Union (Eurostat) on Wednesday 3 July. The highest rates were found in Belgium (5.5%), Spain (3.5%), Croatia and the Netherlands (both 3.4%), while the lowest were observed in Finland (0.6%), Italy (0.9%) and Lithuania (1.0%).
