On Tuesday 2 July, the European Union condemned the launch the previous day of two ballistic missiles by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), which constitutes “another violation of United Nations Security Council resolutions”.
These launches follows joint military exercises between South Korea, Japan and the United States, denounced by the DPRK, which warned on 30 June of “fatal consequences”.
