Centralised clearance for import system goes live in eight EU Member States

03/07/2024 (Agence Europe) – The Centralised Clearance for Import (CCI) system entered its first phase of implementation on Monday 1 July. This new trans-European system aims to ensure the digitalisation of the centralised customs clearance process at European level, as defined in the Union Customs Code. It is available for use by European businesses in Bulgaria, Estonia, Spain, Luxembourg, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Romania. Other Member States plan to join gradually over the coming...
